This December, SV9mm is planning our 2nd Jeff Cooper Memorial Tournament, an IPSC Level 1 competition. One of our members has designed this wonderful banner for the event, and I wanted to take the opportunity to share it with you.

Please consider this a heartfelt greeting from all of us here in Austria to you and everyone over there who remembers us.

Jeff Cooper’s spirit and philosophy are still very much alive here at the Cooper Range.

His principles, teachings, and especially his fundamental rules of firearm safety remain an essential part of everything we do. We continue to teach and reinforce them in our training courses and whenever we welcome new members to our club. They are not just words on a wall – they are part of our everyday life.

Speaking of members, our club has continued to grow, and we are now approaching 1,300 members!

Although Austrian firearms laws have recently become stricter once again, we remain optimistic about the future.

We have also joined the newly founded ASU (Austrian Shooters United), an organization dedicated to representing and supporting the entire shooting community in Austria.

Their approach is something we truly appreciate: providing accurate, factual information, bringing together expertise from all areas of firearms ownership and use, and supporting policymakers with knowledge and practical experience to help them make well-informed decisions.

Our Cooper Range is also considered a showcase project in this regard, something we are very proud of.

Warmest greetings from Austria, from all of us at the SV9mm Cooper Range!
