L to R: Loyd Briski, Scott Barkley, Lindy, & Luis Pinero-Perez

From Luis: To the staff at the Jeff Cooper Legacy Foundation,

Attending the 250 Defensive Pistol Class has been a goal of mine for quite some time now, so hearing I was awarded the Scholarship left me completely stunned. Taking a class at Gunsite was a wonderful experience from beginning to end, and one I will never forget. I made a
great deal of friends who I would love to see at future classes, but most importantly, this experience has benefited my life both personally and professionally. As someone entering a career in law enforcement, I greatly appreciate the professional training provided by the knowledgeable and experienced instructors who refined my shooting technique and methodology substantially. Everything I learned in the 250 course has helped with developing my marksmanship skills as well as learning how to further develop them in myself and others. I am excited to continue the legacy of Colonel Cooper by sharing these techniques I have learned with those around me who also wish to have a positive impact on their family, country, and communities.

Sincerely, thank you all for reviewing and accepting my application for the Jeff Cooper Legacy Foundation Scholarship, as well as the hospitality at Gunsite and the Sconce. I am forever grateful to all of you and wish to return in the future to attend more classes.

DVC,

Luis A. Pinero-Perez
